Introduction
The Mirka Innovation Challenge is an open innovation event dedicated to creating new solutions and curve-jumping, paradigm shifting ideas for sustainable future and growth.
Time: 4-6th April 2019 – EVENT CLOSED – THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING
Place: Design Centre MUOVA (Wolffintie 36F11 / 4th floor, VAASA).
Preliminary schedule:
Thursday 15.00-19.00 (challenge intros, building your team, start your project)
Friday 10.00-19.00 (developing and creating)
Saturday 10.00-13.00 (finalizing your entry, presentations, winners selected)

The event is open for Vaasa area students interested in circular economy themes and sustainablity.
The challenges are provided by Mirka Ltd. and offer participants multiple opportunities to explore the circular economy theme on different levels and angles.
We are looking to build cross-disciplinary and multi-talented teams for diverse and innovative outcomes. The event is open for students of VAMK and the University of Vaasa, Novia and Hanken. You can join from any background, for example:
- Engineering (energy, mechanical design, robotics&automation, environment, IT)
- Business, Industrial Management, Communication, Marketing
